Tools of the Trade... Guild, Gibson, Fender and the Vox Distortion Booster 1966-'69

In 1966 distortion units were commonly called "fuzz tones" 
and they were hard to come by. I remember calling just about every music store 
in the phone book to try to locate one. Occasionally a saleswoman would answer 
the phone and when I asked if they had a "fuzz tone" 
I would inevitably get laughed at and hung up on.
